Field Service Support
Scana Propulsion operates with a Field Service Engineer Pool for easy coordination of available resources worldwide.
Scana Propulsion field service engineers undergo continual training to ensure they can deal with any maintenance task or repair within mechanical, hydraulic and remote control issues. A close interaction between head office and local service teams ensure quick response for repair and general service attendance.
Scana Propulsion offers customers training in operating our remote control systems. Training can be provided onboard, or at one of Scana Propulsion’s training facility. Training modules include system comprehension and operation, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Through frequent dialogue with our clients, we schedule service in accordance with planned docking, or arrange for inspections at times convenient for the vessel’s schedule.
Spare Part Service
As a manufacturer of marine equipment, we offer genuine and brand new spare parts for all our products, both mechanical and electrical. We also have agreements with major suppliers to assure minimised delivery time for spares regardless of your vessel’s geographical location. However, we also advise our customers to have critical spares available to avoid unnecessary off-hire.
