Scana Propulsion have just entered into agreement with Havyard Ship Technology, Norway, for delivery of gearbox and cp‐propellers with control systems for a new well boat. The ship owner is Norsk Fisketransport AS of Norway. The vessel will be built at Havyard Leirvik shipyard, also in Norway. This delivery will be the third well boat of Havyard 587 design equipped with Scana propulsion system.

The propulsion system from Scana Propulsion is scheduled for delivery in November 2016, and the vessel is planned for delivery from shipyard in April 2017. The contract includes an option for further one shipset.

Scana Propulsion have also signed a contract with Aas Mekaniske Verksted of Norway for delivery of gearbox, propeller and control system for a well boat of AAS 3602 ST design for Nova Sea AS, Norway.
Delivery of the equipment from Scana Propulsion will take place in November 2016, and the vessel will be delivered from the shipyard, Aas Mekaniske Verksted, in June 2017. This is the fifth well boat from Aas Mekaniske equipped with Scana Propulsion gearbox and propeller counted from 2014.
