Scana Propulsion has signed a contract with Pon Power, Denmark, for delivery of gear and cp-propeller system to the pelagic trawler “Grateful”. The vessel, ordered by Eshcol Fishing Company, will be built at Karstensen Shipyard in Denmark. “Grateful” will be owned by the well-known Whyte-family based in Fraserburgh, Scotland.
The delivery from Scana Propulsion will take place in Q3 2016, and the vessel is scheduled for delivery from the shipyard in July 2017
Scana Propulsion is proud to be selected supplier of propulsion system to new “Grateful”. The Whyte-family currently operates the trawler “Forever Grateful”, delivered in 2001, which is also equipped with Scana gearbox and propeller.
